I am a PhD student in the SDSU-UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Language & Communicative Disorders. I received my Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from SDSU and then went on to complete a research Master’s in Clinical Linguistics through University of Groningen, University Gent, and University of Eastern Finland. I am interested in expanding the understanding of how varying linguistic experience influences cognitive and linguistic processing and their associated neural networks in typically and neurologically impaired aging individuals. Outside of research I really love to travel, cook, and bake! My favorite thing to do anywhere I go is to try local foods, especially when it’s baked sweets!
